HELP! I just found out that Delaware Co. was part of Franklin Co. before 1808,
is this right? In the 1888 His of Delaware Co., it says my ancestor arrived
in 1807 and I see he was on a tax list for 1810, but the earliest land in Del
Co grantee index is for 1812 buying from Moses Byxbe. I wrote a letter to
Franklin Co.; my answer was all burned bef 1920.

What alternate sources can be used, and were they truly ALL burned? Thank you
for your help.
