Raymond Bennett is 8 years old and is the son of Jacob and Elizabeth Bennett
from Thomson TWP in the 1850 Delaware County census.

In 1855, Jacob Bennett married Barbara in Union County, Ohio.

In the 1860 census for Allen County, Ohio, Jacob Bennett is married to
Barbara Munson Bennett. The same Bennett children are in the home except
the now 18 year old Raymond is John Bennett. Other exceptions are several
Decker Children. One being a 19 year old Louisa Decker.

In July 1864, Joseph Bennett marries Louisa Decker in Allen County, Ohio.
They already have a 2 year old child and another is born one month after
marriage.

Is anyone researching this line of Bennetts?

My question is, could this Raymond/John possibly have been changed to Joseph
Bennett by 1864 when he married Louisa Decker? I have further questions
about the Deckers, but this would really get confusing so I'll leave it
alone for now.
