To the Hon. The Probate Court of Delaware County – Ohio

Your Petitioner Dorsey Maxfield administrator of the Estate of Harvey N Cook late of Delaware County deceased respectfully represents that the total amount of the personal assets belonging to said Estate will not exceed $223.85 and that the amount indebteness of the said Estate together with the expense of administering the same will exceed $360.33 as will appear by the annexed schedule and that the personal assets belonging to the estate are insufficient to discharge the debts against the said Estate. Your Petitioner further represents that said decedent died s???ed in fee of the following real estate situated in Delaware County aforesaid viz in lot number eight (8) in the Town of Galena as Known and designated upon the plot of said Town 5 feet w. pt of said lot having heretofore sold & transferred to Harlow Allen by Petitioner being the same premises heretofore conveyed by this Petitioner by proper deed of conveyance to said decedent in his life time. Petitioner further s!
ays that said Harvey N Cook departed this life without issue leaving Sarah E Cook his widow entitled to dower in said premises and the following persons his heirs at law having the next estate of inheritance in said premises Elizabeth Scovill wife of Carrolton G (should be Carlton) Scovill Stephen Cook Henry Cook Eldridge W C Cook Sarah C Maxfield wife of Petitioner and the heirs of Zephaniah Cook dec Viz William Cook, Sarah (Cook – insert) Mary Cook, & Wellington Cook, and the heir of Matilda Whetstone (Should be Wheaton) deceased, viz Lanora Whetstone, and the heirs of James Cook dec viz Virgil Cook Charles Cook & Newton Cook & Sidney Cole Louisa Cole his wife

Your Petitioner prays that the above named person be made party defendant to this petition by dec process of law, and that the Dower intent of said Widow be assigned and petitioner authorized to sell said premises and that such proceeding be had in the premise as are authorized by law
