I am interested in finding information regarding possible naturalization/immigration records David R. Thomas for years between 1840-1860. Since it appears that he was enlisted in the Civil War, was it necessary to be naturalized to enlist? He was born in Wales in 1839; died in 1877 and is buried in Delaware Co. in Oak Grove Cemetery.
