To those of you in Central Ohio, who are interested in copyright issues, you are invited to the following program of the Delaware County Genealogical Society (DCGS) (in a joint program with the Delaware County Historical Society):

Topic: "Copyright: Understanding the Basics for Genealogists"

Details: Family historians are becoming more and more concerned about using previously published material (including photographs) in their own publications, either on paper or on the Web, without violating copyright laws. Marsha L. Zavar, "copyright librarian" at Ohio Wesleyan University's Beeghly Library will provide specific examples and recommendations appropriate to family historians.
