Hi Everyone-
I'm new to this list, and I live in New Mexico. That makes it a bit
difficult to get to Ohio.
I'm searching for the families of my g-g-grandparents. They were married
in Erie County, Ohio on May 4, 1844. Their names were James Melvin Hill(s)
and Sarah M. Patch.
James' father was Eben or Ebenezer (or a variant of one of those) and it is
believed his middle initial was "B". The family moved to Erie County from
Lewis County, NY sometime between 1830 and 1840.
Sarah was born in Danbury, CT. I do not know when her family moved to Erie
County. It is possible that Sarah was the daughter of Zar Patch, who was a
minister and postmaster, but I have not seen her name on any listings of
his children.
If anyone can provide any assistance at all on these two families, I would
certainly appreciate it. I'm looking forward to hearing from a lot of you!
