Just my two cents worth here. I have been to Erie County three times over
the years searching for my family. The gals at the probate office in
Sandusky have been the kindest, most helpful people that I have met at a
courthouse. They went out of their way to help me find the information that
I was looking for. I am having the same problems that you folks are with the
death records not being recorded. Back then they just didn't record
everything even though it was the law. Those gals can't magically make
something appear that doesn't exist. I understand your frustration as I am
in the same boat but please don't blame the employees there if your
information doesn't exist.
