Subject: RACHEL UNDERHILL

Maggie,
I have been searching for information regarding my
GGGGrandmother, Rachel Underhill. She and her husband Jacob, moved to Ohio,
from New York. In 1850 they were listed in the Ashland census. Tom Neel
for
the OGS said there is a Rachel Underhill listed in the 1860 census in Groton
Township, Erie County. Somewhere along the way, we have lost track of
Jacob.
Would you have any information on her? They had 2 daughters, who are
unnamed in the Quaker meeting records. Perhaps he died and she went to live
with one of the daughters. She did not stay with my GGGrandfather Harvey.
I would truly appreciate any help as I am at a loss as where to look at this
point. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Geri Underhill Oster
ps she was born around 1785
