Indeed Erie County was part of Huron County until 1838. You can find
the following in the respective County Offices:
Recorder's Office - Land Records.
Auditor's Office - Personal Property Taxes Lists & Real Estate Tax
Lists.
In Erie County, these offices are located at:
Erie County Office Building
247 Columbus Ave
Sandusky OH 44870
