Hi, I don't have any Pringnitz in my tree, but my gggrandfather's migration
pattern was so similar I wanted to write to see if you had any information on
what influenced Henry to go to Napoleon then to Kellys Island. My
gggrandfather Gottfried Weller immigrated in 1864 from Wuerttemburg, Germany.
He married a Christine Reisch in Napoleon in 1886. She died of typhoid in
1901. Gottfried moved to Kellys Island with his three children William,
Mary, and Christina. I know William worked for the quarry. Gottfried is
buried on Kelly's Island. I've always been curious about the motivation
behind these moves, and you can't find that in source documents. I'm
interested to see if you have any information on that. Thanks
