Myra: Yes, birth/death records from about 1867 until 1908 are at the Erie Co Probate Court in the Court House. After that date in the Health Dept. You can look up wills & marriage applications/licenses in Probate Court. The Library is located across the street from the Court House where you will find in the genealogy dept. microfilm for: 1820-1920 Erie Co Census;
1838-1913 Erie Co Probate Recds; 1861-1865 Isaac Skillman Papers; 1862-1865 History of Fed Civil War Prison on Johnson's Island; & churches including St Anthony's Catholic Church, Milan; Grace Episcopal, 1st Presbyterian, Calvary Episcopal, 1st Congregational UCC, St John's Lutheran, and St Stephen UCC (German) of Sandusky.
