Pam: I located the obituary for Arthur and Soloman Sheffel.
At the end of this obits, the pallbearers that are listed may be grandchildren.


Solomon B Sheffel - Died Wednesday, 29 August 1945
Solomon B Sheffel, life-long and well-know resident of this city and an employee of the American Crayon Co, died at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr & Mrs George Hand, 619 Tyler-st, Wednesday evening, following a lingering illness. He was aged 81 years, 10 months and 23 days.

Surviving are his daughter, Mrs George Hand, and one son Leroy Sheffel, both of this city; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and one sister Mrs Jennie Marshall, North Fairfield. His wife preceded him in death March 3, 1941 and a son Arthur, December 13, 1924.

The body is at the Frey Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7:30pm today and where services will be at 2pm Saturday, The Rev Theodore Stellhorn Jr, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

The Rev Theodore Stellhorn Jr, conducted services for Solomon Sheffel this afternoon from the Frey Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Russell Sheffel, Paul Lang, James Hand, Louis Behrendsen, Ford Sheffel and Charles Hand.
