Is there any record of land holdings in Oxford Township, Erie County that are easily accessible? Plat maps maybe? I know my great-grandparents (Micahel and Catherine McCartney) lived on a farm in Oxford Township from 1866 to 1881 (they are in both the 1870 and 1880 censuses there). I'm trying to find out exactly where the land was located. I always thought they owned it, but maybe they were leasing/renting it from someone else. Is a trip to Sandusky the only way to track down land holdings?
