Hello Everyone:
My gggrandfather, Henry J. Lotz, is mentioned in the book "Sandusky Then and
Now" as being born in Hesse, Germany. I am trying to find the name of the
town in Hesse where he was born. The book was originally written in German
(Sandusky Einst und Jetzt), and I'm wondering if anyone knows if the source
material for this book still exists, and where I might find it. I know it's a long
shot, but I'm hoping the source material might mention the town name in
Hesse. I've already researched the usual sources, e.g. LDS, censuses, newspapers,
marriage/death/cemetery records, etc, but no luck there.
