My mother died March 3rd during open heart surgery. My sisters and I
are trying to finish her genealogy work. After a survey today, I am
convinced that everyone who lived in Fairfield Co OH between 1785 and
1840 was a relative of mine! Here they are and what little I have on

Co., OH; Isabell ELLIS d. of John ELLIS, Isabell b. in Mercer Co., OH m.
Robert{?} Grant who died in Allen Co, OH in Jan 1921, Isabell Ellis
Grant died in Columbiana Co in 1924 but is buried in Beaverdam, Allen
Co., OH. John BARNHART b. 1840 {Germany} d. 24 Feb 1898 in Hancock, OH,
m. Lena or Madelein WALTER b. 16 Nov 1842 in Wintzenbach, Alsace d. 25
April 1917 in Columbus, OH. BUT THE FORTRESS BRICK WALL IS William
Cyrus BROWN son of Francis "Frank" BROWN by his first marriage: William
died in 1928 in McComb OH. He married Loretta ABBOTT who died in
Deshler, OH in 1929. They were married in Muskingum Co., OH in Jan of
1889. Loretta b. 1854 in Muskingum - waiting for William Cyrus' death
cert to find out his birthdate.
