Hi List:
I am searching for information on my gg grandfather, Joshua Leazenby.
I am trying to learn the names of his parents without success. He
lived in Fairfield County from at least 1850 through the 1870's.
He died in 1901 in either Franklin or Madison County. I'm
wondering what type of records may have been created in the 1850's,
1860's or 1870's that may have listed the names of a person's
parents? Are voter registration records available from that time
frame and, if so, would they list the names of a person's parents?
Any advise at all would be much appreciated. Also, I'm wonderig if
there are any descendants of George and Harriet (Leazenbee) Huber
or John and Sarah (Leazenbee) Hughes still living in the Fairfield
County area. Sarah and Harriet were the daughters of Joshua and
were the sisters of my g grandfather, James Leazenbee. Sarah and
John had sons Jesse and Harley Hughes. I would like to hear from
any descendants of these people.
