Dear List,

I will be visiting Lancaster next week and will probably spend only one day
doing genealogical research. I would like to concentrate on land records,
with which I have relatively little experience. What would be the most
efficient way to look up land records in order to find out if a person sold
his land and left the area? Also, I would like to see if I can shed some
light on some relationships by finding out if land passed into other hands
by inheritance.

Would the best way be to concentrate on the "Grantor" indexes and look up
the last record for that name listed index? Any advice would be
appreciated.
