Does anyone have LENHART (spelled other ways??) information from Fairfield
Co, Oh records.

These records have been found recently. Does anyone have any clues as to
connections on these Lenharts?

(Consort = old term for wife or spouse)
(Thus Ann was b. June of 1792)

1824, Lenhart, Jacob, Grantee, John Sunderland, et al, Grantor, Agmt,
Book N, p. 694
"Article of Agreement entered into by and between John Sunderland of
Fairfield Co, Oh, Thomas I. Jiams or Ijames or?? (here I cannot determine
this last name, could be Issames or Issaccs, or???) of Muskingum County , Oh
, of the first part and Jacob L. Lenhart of Perry County, Oh, of the second
part, do bargain and deed to Jacob L. Lenhart, his heirs, a certain tract of
land in the County of Fairfield Co, Oh, containing two hundred and seventy
acres. One hundred and ten acres is in the SW 1/4 of Sect 23, Twp 16, Range
17. Fifty acres out of NW corner of SW section sold to Solomon Turner.
And 160 acres lying in township of RushCreek.........
Payments to be made in 1823, 1824, 1825 & 1826. .
Witnessed by Daniel Baker and John Redmond.
Recorded July 30, 1822 or 1824......

......Grantee/Grantor indexes have not been found as yet to indicate when
this Jacob sold/transferred/terminated interest or paid off the mortgages
on this land in Fairfield.

Found earlier:
I do hereby certify that I have this day solemonized the Marriage of
Christopher Lenehard of Muskingham County and Kitty Fulk(s) of this county
according to
Law this 13th day of June 1815. James Quinn E.M.E.C. Fairfield County.

This is believed to be 2nd marriage of Christopher Lenhart, Jr. (s/o Jon
Christopher, s/o of immigarnt Johann Peter Lenhart/Leonhardt b. 1708,
arrived in Phila 1748 on ship Two Brothers, settled first in Berks Co, Pa
near Lenhartsville, sold out to children and moved on to Dover Twp, York
Co, Pa. Descendents of this family started migrating all through Pa, Oh
and points west).
1836 Tax and Land records show that Christopher of this marriage was back
in Muskingum Co,
Oh. so he apparently did not remain in Fairfield Co, OH??

Anyone have other Lenhart of Fulks or ?? records from Fairfield Co???
