Fairfield Co. Probate Court has implemented the following procedures for
researchers:

Researchers who go to the Fairfield County Probate Court who want to access
will and estate packets must provide the clerk with case numbers (there is
an index in the court office). The clerk will retrieve the packet, rather
than allowing the researcher to go get it.

If the clerks are busy, the researcher may have to wait 24 hours or more
for copies and pick them up later. Every effort will be made to help
researchers who do not live in the area, but if clerks are busy then they
will offer to mail copies or the copies can be picked up at a later time.

Copies are 5 cents per image.
