I am hoping that there is someone local who could check the inscriptions on 2 tombstones in the New St Thomas Cemetery in Madison Township.

I have the publication "Cemeteries of Madison Township Fairfield County Ohio" published by the Fairfield County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, 1987. I am wondering if there may be an error in this publication.

GOTTMIRE, John, son of F. & F, died Mar. 16, 1868, aged 3y 1m 23d

I am wondering if the inscription might actually be son of F. & E?

also in row 6
GOTTMIRE, Elizabeth, wife of F., died Mar 5, 1860, aged 28y 4m 9d

I am wondering if the inscription might actually be died Mar 5, 1868?

I believe that Elizabeth is actually Elizabeth Dimple b. about Oct 1839 who married Frederick Gottmire. I also believe that John is the son of Frederick and Elizabeth Dimple/Dimpel Gottmire.
