Hello. I have two land records that states "George LUCAS of
Fairfield County, Ohio" bought land in Hancock County.
These are dated "the twenty fifth day of May in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five".
He would be my 3-gr.grandfather. I know his wife's name
was Letty; but have no further knowledge of her family.
I am wondering if there is a marriage record for George &
Letty in Fairfield County?
(Their children were born in Ohio starting in that year.)
