Surname: Simpson, Tudor

I am interested in the History of Fayette County that you mentioned and
any possible references to Simpson's.

John M. Simpson, my gr gr grandfather, was a founder in 1857 of White Oak
Grove Methodist Protestant Church, Fayette County near Buena Vista. John
M. Simpson came to Fayette County in 1832 from Deleware and was an early
resident of the village of Buena Vista, where he operated a small store
and farmed. He, along with a Stephen Tudor, may have founded Buena Vista.
His daughter Mary Ann, who died at the age of fifteen is buried at White
Oak Grove Cemetery as is her older sister Deborah(Simpson)Reed.

Also.. we have heard that there was a large migration of folks from Deleware
to the Fayette County area in the early 1830's. Anyone know about this?
