A few days ago someone posted info that there is a book at the Fayette Co.
Library that has a listing of the "old" cemetery headstones. Could someone
do a lookup for me for:
WILLIAM & CATHERINE JANES
1780-1841 1784-1852

I have this info from a Janes genealogy prepared by Lewis, Kate and Robert
Janes of Jeffersonville stating " they were buried in the old cemetery in
Jeffersonville". If this is the cemetery on the north edge of
Jeffersonville, I have been to this cemetery on several ocassions and never
found their stones. Many stones are missing. I do have a copy of the Wm
Horney DAR booklet listing this old cemetery. William and Catherine are not
listed in this booklet. Any help will be most greatly appreciated.
