These may be related--I descend from a sister to Catherine Files:

Samuel McClelland, born ca. 1807 in Kentucky, married Catherine Files on 26
June 1838 in Green County, OH (Marr Bk A:149). They had 3 daughters
according to the 1850 and 1860 censuses. The oldest daughter Mary Emily
married her cousin James M. Files in 1858.

1850 Samuel resided in Greene County, Silver Creek Twp, p. 406. 1860 in
Cedarville Twp, dwelling #626.
