When the Court Street building housing the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) hall on Court Street was demolished, its plaques listing Fayette Co. residents who'd served in the Civil War, were removed. Last I know they were stacked along a hall in the Court House basement.

Can anyone tell me where they are now?
