Hi, Mary Beth,
I have a little bit of information about John C's wives. John C. Everett and Elizabeth M. Green are my GGgrandparents.

I believe that Elizabeth M. Green is the daughter of James and Elizabeth Green. I found this family living in Steubenville, Jefferson Co., Ohio in 1870 census. The elder James and Elizabeth were both born in Ireland. They had 7 children, including Elizabeth, who were all born in Canada. I've not tried to track this Green family any further. As you may know, John C. Everett's family was also living in Steubenville at this time. I have no firm information about when or where Elizabeth M. Green Everett died.

As to John C's second wife Nancy, I found her in the 1930 census in Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio. She was remarried to a Charles Goltzone (that's what it looks like to me.)

I've had some trouble sorting out which wife was the mother of which of John C's younger children. Have you had any success with that?
