Hi Barb Bonham,
A friend of mine copied a short history called; History of Fulton County,
Ohio by George P. Monagon and George M. Liscombe, published in 1877. It is
only about 18 pages in total.

In the section about Delta, Ohio is the following:

In the spring of 1834 he (Mr. Meeker) was followed by others; Mr. Wm.
Fewlas and his brother, hailing from Long Island, New York, took up residence
here, where Mr. Wm. Fewlas yet resides.

Don't know if you have read the above before.
