I appreciate so much all of the information on the Meek family.

I received three photos from a McKibbin cousin of the Wauseon
memorial to the men of Wauseon who fought with the 38th Ohio
Volunteer Infantry in the Civil War, and while William Garman,
my great-grandfather's brother-in-law, and William McKibbin,
his brother, and David Fairchilds, his wife's brother, are on
there, surprisingly, my great-grandfather Robert Irvine McKibbin
is not there. I have all of the original paperwork plus family
records plus the war records from the National Archives to prove
that he did indeed serve with CO K of the 38th Ohio Voluteer
Infantry and march with GEN Sherman through Georgia, but he
is not on the monument. How could I go about getting his name
on there? What an oversight! He was even blinded temporarily
during the seige of Atlanta and had to be led by his brother-in-
law William Garman to Savannah, where he was hospitalized
for some time.

Please let me know what you think. I was deeply disappointed to
discover that Robert Irvine McKibbin had been left out and
forgotten.
