Mary Celestine Parney is my great-grandmother. I have never been able to
find anything on the Parneys older than her father Theodore Joseph Parney.
My attempts have even resulted in email exchanges with Marilyn Faye Parney
who is a Canadian folk/country singer. Although she had ancestors from
Michigan it appears that we have no immediate connection. Just wondering if
any Fulton County genealogy researchers have done any work in French
ancestors and found any Parneys back in the old country.

First Generation
1. Mary Celestine PARNEY was born 23 Feb 1866 in Fulton Co., Ohio and was
baptized 4 Mar 1866 in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Archbold, Fulton Co.,
Ohio. She died 27 Mar 1922 and was buried in St. Richard's Cemetery, Swanton,
Fulton Co., Ohio.
Mary married (MRIN:2) Andrew Peter FLORY, son of Jean Pierre Albert FLEURY
"Peter" and Josephine Autras COURTEAU (MRIN:12), on 27 Oct 1885 in Archbold,
Fulton Co., Ohio. Andrew was born 26 May 1862 in Archbold, Fulton Co., Ohio.
He died 7 Sep 1941 in Delta, Fulton Co., Ohio.

Second Generation
2. Theodore Joseph PARNEY was born 14 Nov 1841 in France. He died 11 May
1909 in Fulton Co., Ohio and was buried in St. Peter's Cemetery, Archbold,
Fulton Co., Ohio. Theodore married Mary Margaret GRIME (MRIN:13).
3. Mary Margaret GRIME was born 26 Sep 1843 in France. She died 16 Apr 1901
in Archbold, Fulton Co., Ohio.

Third Generation
4. PARNEY.
6. Peter GRIME was born 15 Aug 1823 in Versailles, France. He died 25 Sep
1898 in German Township, Fulton County, Ohio. Peter married Mary Margaret
GRIME (MRIN:17).
7. Mary Margaret GRIME was born Jan 1824 in France. She died 23 Jan 1892 in
German Township, Fulton County, Ohio.

Fourth Generation
12. Alexis GRIME was born 1793 in France. He died after 1880 in German
Township, Fulton County, Ohio and was buried in St. Peter's Cemetery,
Archbold, Fulton Co., Ohio. Alexis married Maria Anna PERSON (MRIN:56).
13. Maria Anna PERSON "Jeanie" was born 1791 in France. She died before 1880
in German Township, Fulton County, Ohio.
