In addition to the information sent by The Loser's I have the following
to share.
Elias Salsbery is shown in the 1840 Ohio, Wood County, Liberty Township
census as Eli Saulsbury. Male 20-30 years old. Wife shown as, female
15-20 years old. No children. Page number 423. Ancestry.com image # 1.
Elias and Sallie's date of marriage was January 23, 1840 in Lucas
County, Ohio

Elias Salsbery is shown in the 1850 Ohio, Fulton County, Chesterfield
Township census as Eli Salsbery age 36. Wife Sally age 27. Page number
271. Ancestry.com is image # 5.

Elias Salsbery is shown in the 1860 Ohio, Fulton County, Pike Township
census as Elias Solsbury, age 46. Wife Sally A. age 38. Back side of
page # 703. Ancestry.com Image # 6. Children listed Page #703 and #705,
Ancestry.com image #6 and #7

There is a reference to Elias Salisbury in the Fulton County Recorders
Office of Deeds in Vol. 17, page 568. Elias Salisbury of Parke County
Indiana sold lots #'s 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 71, 72 and 73 in
Delta's Schlappi Addition to Samuel Miller for $350.00.
The date was April 24, 1865. Signed by Sallie A. Salisbury.
(Elias could not be found living in Park County, Indiana in any census.)
Elias died, August 28, 1895, Dover township, Fulton County, Ohio
Elias's son Mathias list his birth place as Delta, Ohio in Civil War
Pension Records.
On the monument to Civil War Soldiers in front of the Fulton County Ohio
Courthouse is the name Mathias Sallisbury, 38th Regiment.
Mathias was in Civil War, Co "I" 38th Infantry Regiment, Ohio Volunteers.
