Hi Karen~ I looked up James Edward Conklin for you earlier. Is there
something I missed or did you not get my email on it? I will be happy to
look up the Snow names for you too if you want. But don't expect to find one
for the 1919 death as it falls during the "missing years" of Fulton co.
records. I will look for it never the less. Let me know about having rec'd
my previous email. I can look up Conklin a second time as I no longer have
it in my "sent items". I can go to the records dept on Monday but I can
check the film on Sat.

Peg,
I got your email on the death date. What I'd like to find now is obits
out of the local newspaper. The one time I did make it to Wauseon I didn't
have James Edward Conklin's death date, only the year. As far as the
Snow's.....didn't realize till I got home that I needed them. LOL The library there
had a good selection of microfilmed newspaper but it is not indexed. :(
That is why I wanted the death date for James Edward. The thought of going
through a whole year of newspapers looking for an obit was a bit daunting to say
the least. Do you ever look through the old newspapers? Most of my family
is from the Wyandot County area. It's kind of fun just to take an afternoon
and read some of the old papers. They put in a lot more "local social news"
than they would ever dream of doing nowadays. My grandmother did scrapbooks
of news items years ago. I have all of those now and have went through and
found clippings of articles on birthday partys held for us. LOL
