I am thinking that if my Anna Ward doesn't tie in here(she was born
10-10-1816) then at least this family ties in with the one on the 1850 census
of Gallia Co.
Jacob Ward age 27
Mary age 25
Silas age 6
Franklin age 5(notice the Franklin above)
Louise age3
Fidelia born 1850
The Jacob on the census would have been born earlier than these children.
Maybe by a first wife. Or maybe he's a nephew.


Also found in marriages 1803-1850 William Ward to Elizabeth Bickle 10-2-1838
and Jacob Ward to Mary Bickle 1-5-1843.(I believe that this is the Jacob and
Mary on the 1850 census since judging by childrens ages they would have
married in 1843-44. These 2 would have been older than the children of Jacob
and Nancy Ward.

I found in Gallia County births these children who are probably the
grandchildren of Jacob and Nancy Beard Ward.

Isaac Ward and Sarah F. Chapman had
Isaac F. Ward 9-1-1872
Mariah E. born 6-21-1877
Martin A. Ward born 12-14-1874

There were a couple of Williams,
William and Sarah Stephenson Ward had
Mary A. Ward born 9-24-1869
Theodore Ward 4-19-1874

William A. Ward and Eliza Jane Ward had(possibly Elizabeth Bickle?)
Lycurgus Ward 12-11-1867

William W. Ward and Fannie Null had
Jessie May Ward 6-20-1875

John W. Ward and Mary C. Holcomb had
Horace H. Ward 9-3-1873
Katie Jane Ward born 12-7-1879
Montie 12-7-1877
Morrice 9-2-1871
William C. 11-3-1869
unnamed 10-20-1875

Hiram D. Ward and Sarah Jane Fulton Had
James H. Ward 5-22-1872

I hope if these dates don't help anyone now, maybe they will later. I only
had a few xeroxed pages that I copied from the library. So if anyone has
access to the rest of the birth and marriage records, there should be more.
