Lynda - We had a "lock-in" at Bossard Library last night and in my spare
time I looked up some info
concerning William Loucks, your ancestor. The Book is "Revolutionary War
Soldiers who lived in
Gallia County" and he was listed which gives you a good chance for joining
DAR. The sources are:
1. Source Pension File at The National Archives #R6462 M804 Roll#1588
2. DAR Application #354625
3. Gallia County, OH Record of Wills - Volume D; Page 260
4. Gallia County, OH Marriage Records - Volume 1; Page 1
The other info is in the mail.
