Has anyone done any work on a ROBERTS family in Gallia Co., Ohio? I have a Sarah Marie Roberts that married my Rev. Hiram Rose Howe. Sarah was born July 16, 1818 and d. Dec. 23, 1883. She is buried in Fairview (Long) Cemetery. Rev. Howe and Sarah were married July 19, 1853 at Porter, Gallia Co., Ohio, by Rev. Winter Howe, brother to Hiram.
On the Springfield Twp.page from the Illustrated Atlas of Gallia Co. Ohio 1874, it shows just outside of Porter, Ohio, that H. R. Howe owned two properties and next to him was a S. M. Howe. Then just S.W. of Porter was P.J.L. Roberts, who along with Mary wife of Peter are also buried in Fairview (Long) Cemetery.
Does this match with anyone's family?
