There has been some discussion recently concerning early marriages in Mason County, West Virginia.
There is an excellent resource book, "Mason County, WV, Marriages, 1806-1915" edited and compiled by Julie Chapin Hesson which I use and strongly recommend. It has been out of print for over two years. Last year the author did a special reprint and it sold out right away. I understand the author is considering another reprint if there are enough orders.
