Thanks Eve for the newspaper link. That was a thorough account, and the
pictures helped put things in perspective. Still some questions, though, for
you close to the scene. How far was this from the new building that the
Historical Society just moved into? Is the Historical Society vulnerable to
this type of disaster? Is there anything we can do to protect artifacts and
records kept there?
