I have not done research on the Morgan line in my family (haven't got that
far back yet) but do have some info on Morgan in Rowan Co, NC where they
connect to my Allen and Wright families.
1. Richard Wright md Elizabeth Jane Ann b Morgan b Rowan abt
1732.
Their children:
1. William R.md Martha Patsey Morgan md abt 1798 moved to KY IN
Their son Morgan Wright md Jane Allen b 1806 Rowan daughter of my ggg-
Grandmother Deliah Wright who married James Allen. To make a long story
short..They had a greatgranson William Nathan.. I have never
been able to find where the Nathan came from.. I'm wondering if it came
from the Morgan connection.
2. Benjamin md Barbara Morgan b abt 1758 d 1794 then
Patsey Morgan abt 1795 ( parents of Barbara Morgan James
Morgan and Mary Mollie Davis)
3. Richard, Jr (my line) md Mary "Nancy" Morgan b Rowan
parents James Morgan & Nancy Davis b NC)
I hope some of this may help you
