I had a letter from Brian, he is the young man who has the CD for sale. He said that in no way wanted to compete with the Gallia County Historical and Genealogical society's book. Matter of fact he didn't know about the book until a few of us wrote him.
He was asked about producing these census CDs, matter a fact the first one that he produced was for Gallia County at the request of someone...
So, I am in agreement with Peg, that both of them used together would be an invaluable source of information.

I guess that the wave of the future is in the CD's. They are easy to store but hard to use without a computer... so take your pick...
