When I was growing up in Troy, Ohio (near Dayton), the B&O went through town
all the time. this was in the 50's and 60's. It's the Baltimore and Ohio.
I don't know:if it still exists. It was not a passenger train, but was very
long. We used to count the cars and wave to the man in the tail car. Did you
try google?
Does any one have any info on the B&O I think was the name of the railroad
that came through about 1800 ? with workers from the VA and Carolinas area
where can I find info on this railroad please
thanks
Shirley
