If you have ancestors that would qualify for First Families, Civil War Families and Settlers & Builders of Gallia County it is time to start getting your applications in to the society.
The Banquet is planned for October 8 at the Grace United Methodist Church. We are working on a weekend of activities. The banquet this year is open to any member of the Gallia County Historical & Genealogical Society to honor these ancestors. So, if you can't find that elusive ancestor you can still attend the banquet and maybe while you are here we can help you find them.
If you received your "The Glade" newsletter today you will find a reservation in it with more information. Also, if you feel you have an ancestor and need help, please contact the society and we will try to help.
We have several applications for all societies including the new Settlers & Builders of Gallia County.
We hope to see you in October!
