Ok. They are not in chancery between 1835 and 1853. (Mary Ann Wood and I abstracted those books in 1984.) That should hit her at least. It's possible that he is in the clerk of court records in a partition suit but not actually in the books labeled chancery. I do think I will check deeds this next week and see if it names the heirs. Thanks so much.
Wm.'s heirs are on the 1821 tax list and so is Elizabeth by herself. Thanks, Henny
