Hi Charlie,

I'm sure you've looked into the area where your grandfather was born for
people with the last name of Vickers. I had several ancestors who bore
their family surname, and my husband, Hank, had a great aunt who bore the
middle name of White, and it turned out that Mr. White was his grandfather's
boss whom he greatly admired and so the grandfather gave his daughter the
middle name of White (that was in Parkersburg). Took a while for the family
to figure that one out. :-)
