Is there anyone out there with information on what research has been
done on ancestral line of Olive GRISWOLD( d. 28 Dec 1862, Burton), wife
of Gilbert FERRISS ( d. 15 Jun 1835), of Newbury? On a trip to Salt
Lake City recently, I found an entry in a 1995 issue of the "Raconteur"
which suggested that Olive's parents were Jonathan GRISWOLD and Sarah
OSBURN of Connecticut. The person who submitted the information was a
Faye Hilton of Pecatonica, IL. I have written her a letter, but in the
meantime I am trying to find substantial evidence that would link Olive
with her parents and would love to hear from anyone who may be
researching this line.
