"Being Irish, I have an abiding sense of tragedy, which sustains me through
temporary periods of joy." W.B.Yeats
This quote sets us up well for this challenge. Who can help me find
connections to this family???
My maternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth HAYWARD was b. 12 Aug 1883, in
Brooklyn NY, daughter of George HAYWARD & Kate DINNEN or DINEEN.
When, or shortly after, her mother died cir. 1888 Mary Elizabeth was sent to
OH (memory fades but I believe it was to Thompson) where she was raised by
her grandparents Mary & Frank McKEE.
Mary HAYWARD married Timothy RYAN cir 1902 & lived in Madison, later
Ashtabula until her death in 1966.
Mary's brothers were James HAYWARD & George HAYWARD. James HAYWARD lived in
Cleveland in the 1950s.
Any clues or connections would be much appreciated.

Susan McMackin Reynolds
