I am looking for information on a John Cutler, who was apparently in Geauga
Co. by 1832, if not earlier, and a possible connection to my William &
Alexander Millett. According to a Court of Common Pleas record (dated 30
April 1832), William Millett placed his young son, Alexander, in an
apprenticeship situation with John Cutler back in 1813, when Alexander was
about 4 yrs. old. I don't know if this was done in Geauga Co. or in another
location (say NY?).

Is there anyone researching this line who might know where John Cutler was
before coming to Geauga Co.? Any possible connection (maybe through
marriage) between John Cutler & William Millett, other than the
apprenticeship?
