Have you found any connection yet between your John Cutler & my William & Alexander Millet? William's son Alexander was apparently placed in John Cutler's care (don't know if it was sr. or jr) in 1813, probably in NY, when Alexander was 4 years old. Always wondered if there was a family connection of some sort--don't have William's wife's name--but have never found one.

I did find a listing for John Cutler in one of the early NY censuses, but don't remember off the top of my head which one (1810 or 1820 probably) and it would have been in either Ontario, Wayne, or Allegany Co. Will go through my files to check later.
