Hello. I am researching my ancestor, Frances ("Fanny") Marion Stevenson who
was born in 1834 in OH. Her father's name was Hugh. I have Fanny's old
memory book which contains poems from friends, Sarah Lizzie and John, in
Xenia in 1851. On March 14, 1855, Fanny married John Bryson Burrows in
Cedarville, OH. Their daughter, Ida Maxwell, was born on January 12, 1856
in Thibodaux, Laforche Parish, LA; and their son, Waldo Stevenson was born
in 1857 in Yellow Springs. By 1860, the family was in Paxton, Ford Co., IL,
and John is listed as a lawyer. I have found other Stevensons and Burrows
in Greene Co. records but have not been able to positively connect. If
anyone has any info, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks. -Suzy
