According to Clara Turner's "The North Carolina Turner Family in Greene
Co., Ohio," Robert Turner died in Tennessee. His wife Mary (Thornburgh)
moved to Ohio in 1807 along with her children and grandchildren.

I have been to the Turner Cemetery in New Jasper Township. Joseph and Dinah
(Small) Turner who are buried there were my 4g-grandparents. I would guess
that Mary Turner moved further west with one of the other offspring, but
I've never taken the time to check out all those possibilities.

I'd be very much interested in exchanging information on this line with
others who are interested.
