Hello,
I am new to this list, I am researching the Swigart family from Greene
Co. Ohio. My wife's grandmother was Nora Catherine Swigart bd 1901 dd
1984 her parents were Edward W Swigart bd 1875 dd 1950 and Virginia
Bailey bd 1877 dd 1964 I have a book on the history of the Bailey side
of the family but nothing much on the Swigart side after a trip to NARA
today I found that Edward's mother Rebecca was living with him in 1910.
A trip to Ohio last weekend to visit family was capped off by a trip to
the Mt Zion Shoup Cemetery, boy was I in for a suprise if I would have
started coping down all the Swigarts that are buried there I would be
nursing a case of severe writers cramp.
I guess what I'm looking for is if anyone on this list has any info on
this family. I plan on writing for Edward's and Rebecca's death
certificates. Would anyone know who I need to contact to get obits if
there were any.
