Penelope,

My 4g-grandfather Andrew Bird/Byrd lived in Sugar Creek, Green
Co, and served under Captain Maltbie in the War of 1812. I got
this information from "The History of Greene Co Ohio" by
Robinson. If memory serves, there was a fair amount of
information about the unit in this book. It's an older book I
found in our local Family History Center.
